MANHASSET PUBLIC SCHOOLS reopening via onsite/hybrid models

The District will communicate via its website, phone blasts, e-mails, and social media.

The current requirements of social distancing will not allow for a full return of all students to their school building at this time. The Governor has indicated that schools may resume operations of their physical buildings at this time.


The realities of this pandemic require us all to continue to be flexible and require our instructional models to allow for the fluid transfer throughout the school year between onsite/hybrid instruction and remote instruction.

Our focus continues to be to have our students, faculty and staff safely return to their school building every single day. We are aware that this can only be done with great care for the health and safety of our school community. All communications will be placed on the website which provides translation in the languages spoken at home and has accessibility features for those with visual and hearing impairments and in the languages spoken at home.
